ESCALE is run by one man, and his family, who trains hundreds of grassroots pastors around Brazil each year. Because he is not the pastor of a church, and his ministry cannot be attached to any denomination (for the risk of not being accepted by the grassroots Pastors), he works independently and receives no support from his denomination or church, meaning that Cross Connection’s financial assistance is vital to the continuation of this priority work.
