Living Word Uganda

LWU exists to train and encourage the Church in Uganda in faithful Bible handling, preaching and teaching. They serve in a context where the church is growing fast numerically amidst very few trained, biblically grounded and faithful church leaders, a lack of resources and widespread false teaching. LWU runs a 6 months bible handling course (Apprentice Ministry Training) in partnership with local churches, with the aim of raising up faithful gospel workers for the local church. Their student work involves equipping university students with tools to study the Bible and teach it faithfully. This includes on-campus Bible studies, regional and national conferences and seminars. They also promote faithful Bible handling among serving pastors and lay people, through pastor conferences and local church-based seminars. Additionally, their book distribution Ministry helps provide authentic and highly subsidized Christian literature.
